importing PSD files

Hi,

after creating a nice text effect in Photoshop, complete with a drop shadow, inner glow and bevel using layer effects over a solid coloured layer and opening it into Fireworks MX, I seem to have lost the text effects except for the drop shadow. Why is this?

because it's a different file format- fireworks is supposed to be able to use the photoshop liburay for effects, but I've yet to be able to link it.
either build and export in photoshop, or build in fireworks.
when I'm doing serious graphics I often do the first copy in fireworks, and the finishing touches in photoshop, and export from photoshop. Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
