I have a .pdf I received from the client, I need to be able to import this into Indesign in order to do a data merge. How should I go about importing the .pdf to get the best looking print possible. Everything I have tried so far has not looked 100%. It looks as though my resolution is totally changing...please help!

Thanks
Jillian

When you right-click on the placed PDF image, what display settings do you have established?

When you print, what print quality do you have established?

Why is everyone in this forum responding to me as picklefish?

You might ask the client what quality he created the pdf at. If it was created for screen, it's not going to print well.

If you get the typical "Uh, I don't know" answer, you could ask them to send you the original document so that you can diatill it - if you have the proper application.
