Importing PDF Into Indesign with layers

HELP!!!
does any one know if it is possible to save a photoshop v7 document (which ever format, PSD, PDF, of TIF)with layers and then place this file with InDesign v2 and move objects on the layers around in ID with out opening the file in photoshop again?

You can place a PSD file in ID, but you can only edit it in PS.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
