Importing Online Form Data

I'm a hardware guy who's been "volunteered" to set up some online forms that send input values into an access database. I'm very familiar with HTML/Form design when it comes to outputing data to an email address, but this is new territory. I know the basics of Access and the concepts of tables/querries/reports. My question is what (specifically) do I have to do to get the data submitted by a user to import into Access? (Please go easy on me :) )

So what's happening here? Is there already a web application that captures data? Is it stored in a database?

Access assumes it is driving the application not waiting for messages to respond to. You can load data into Jet without using Access (ie by using ASP or something like that) but presumably that is beyond your skill level?

Have a look at Data Access Page (DAP)

Hope This Helps, PH.

Currently, clients fill out a form which is sent via email and then input manually into a microsoft access database. The goal is to bypass the email stage and input the data directly. The database is very simple - (5 tables).

My webskills are mostly upkeep - basic HTML, etc.

Can you change 'sent by email' to 'ftp simple record'? You could then get Access to read the ftp-ed files using eg a macro.
