Folks
I'm running Vistax64 Home Prem. with Windows Mail as the email client.
Prior to a system reinstall I exported my personal and newsgroups mail to a remote backup.
On reinstalling Windows Mail I imported the backedup personal mail/newsgroups.
Instead of placing the imported mail and newsgroups in the same folder structure as before Windows Mail created an "Imported Folder" under "Local FOlders" and placed them there.
I got round this by copying my backedup personal mail, ie Inbox, Sent Items, etc, to the same folders under "Local Folders". This appeared correctly allowing me to deleted the mail folders in the "Imported Folder".
But if, after resubscribing to the newsgroups, I copy the backed up newsgroup posts to the new newgroup folders MickeySoft's Windows Mail deletes the copied posts.
I don't want to search for posts in Newsgroups and Newsgroups in "Imported Folder"
How do I put the backed up newgroup posts into the new newgroup posts ?
