im trying to get a 3d animation into flash.
so far im totally failing ... swift and those other tools just give me crappy results.
the best i can get so far, is exporting it to quicktime and importing it to flash.

the quicktime has a brilliant quality, but importing it into flash with 100% quality and exporting it with 100% again, im getting pretty bad jpeg fragments, any ideas how to get around that ?

you could try exporting a jpg/png sequence from you 3D program, thats what i do, best is png, most 3d programs can export a 48 bit png with alpha chanel, this gives you a 3D object in flash with all the transparency where it should be :)

then set you movie - jpg compression to whatever setting you want (or for optimal compression set the compression for each individual picture in the library)

I learned a bit yesterday, today i learned a lot, imagine what i'll learn tomorrow!

tried that by now, problem is, it seems impossible to align the pictures correctly
even at 1600% when i align everything it looks perfect
then when creating the swf, some frames are dancing around

try putting all pix on 99% alpha
