I have no idea how to import a JPEG into a document. I've tried "getting image" and importing and placing an object. But it will not let me import a picture. It never comes up as an option. How do I get a picture into my document?
Thanks!

Is the file named 'something.JPEG' or 'something.JPG'? Try renaming and place again.

Is the JPG corrupt? Try opening in another application to test.

Do you really need a JPG? Try saving in another format like TIFF with LZW compression and then try placing in PageMaker.

'Placing' (File>Place, CTRL-D, or CMD-D) is the only way you should put a picture into PageMaker.

Use File>Place to place an image into PM. also, I agree with Jimoblak that it would be preferable to use a TIF image, even though a JPG will work. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
