Hello, I'm pretty new to premier and am using version 5.1 retail. I have figured out how to pull in images and audio and then render them into video with transitions between them. But I cant get the program to recognize jpg format. I have heard other people talking about using jpegs with premier so i know that some version of it does. Anyway, the other thing was the mp3's. Do I have to change them to wav to import or is there a way to put them in commpressed. I am trying to make a slide-show for my grandparents 50th anniversery and wanted pictures with transitions between them and audio in the background. Any tips would be greatly aqppreciated!!!

Don't think you can import MP3 in 5.1. You'll have to use .wav files. As for jpgs I have access to them... Guess you have to have QuickTime installed.

;-)

Thanks oldnewbie. You were right about the quicktime deal. Can you import mp3 in premier 6? I am just curious really. But thanks again, you made my life alot easier! :)
