Importing Issue

Hi All
I am from Australia and when I try importing data, the phone number is importing in American format with three digits in the first segment which is enclosed in brackets. This results in (088) 334 3599 as a phone number rather than (08) 334 3599 (assuming the number to be imported is 08 8334 3599.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Make sure the phone format is set to International. If this fails then globally replace the status field an expression of:

'I'+Substr(contact1->status,2,4)


Remember to backup first!
