Importing Images

I am using Frontpage 1.0 for Macintosh, and when I import an image from photoshop 7.0 to frontpage and than make the background transparent with the tool in frontpage it makes the images background fuzzy instead of completely transparent. I have saved the image from photoshop a few different ways: jpeg, gif. But still does not make it completely transparent when I import it to frontpage.
Any suggestions?

the background of the image has to be a solid color.

ie. if its white with specs of off white when you set white to be the transparent color the off white specs will appear.

to test if this is your problem go back to photoshop and load the image in question, grab the bucket pouring tool and grab a color different to the background then fill the background with it, if the background was not solid then the specs will now appear..
