Importing .ibx/.mbx into OE6 (.dbx)

I recently had to upgrade a computer, one of the tasks being replacing the hard drive. I backed up all the email files from outlook express (which I think was the very first version of OE5). All the files were ibx and mbx files, and were in Application Data/MS/Outlook Express.

When I tried to import these files in Outlook Express, the only things in the list are OE4 and 6, and neither of these import the files correctly. I think its because they're ibx/mbx files rather than the established OE5 and OE6 .dbx format.

Can anyone suggest a way of importing these files into OE6, or at least converting the mbx/ibx files to folders with email messages in, or something, or converting them into dbx files so that these can be imported.

Thanks for your help,
Dave.

Thanks, but I don't seem to be able to find the solution. Any other ideas?! Ideally, if its not possible to directly import into OE, then a program that converts MBX/IBX into DBX would be good!

Dave.

Suggest you persevere with the link I gave you...it's there!
