Importing HTML documents in Word XP

Strange One here...

Our main systems here are Unix based therefore our output documentation (ie invoices etc) are in HTML format which is then printed out using Word XP.

My question is how does Word decide the page sizing when you import the file as it does not use the properties from normal.dot file as I would expect.

I need word to make all imported HTML files A4 and a set margin..

Is there a hidden properties for HTML imports?

Any help appreciated..
