Hi:

Does anyone know if it's possible to export address from Groupwise and then import to Outlook ? I can export a bunch of address' from Groupwise into VCF's, but the exported file contains all the address'. When I go to import that file in Outlook, it only reads the first one and then stops.

Thanks,

Rob

You can try using the Outlook plugin for GroupWise. Just attach to the GroupWise mail system, export the address book using the Outlook tools. Uninstall the plugin and reconfigure Outlook for the Exchange system, then import the address book.

There are also third part tools that will do this, they just cost a whole bunch of money. They do save time, but the above way is free.

Another way to do this is to Export the GroupWise Address Book as a NAB file and then in Outlook, choose to import a Windows CSV, but for the file type type in *.NAB. Then you can see the NAB file and import it.

The time intensive part of this technique is the need to match fields (map) from GroupWise to Outlook. Let me know if you have any other questions.
