I'm unable to see a list of my database functions in the Import Metadata wizard in Framework Manager. I see tables, views, and procedures -- and am able to select and import those objects -- but no functions are listed, and never have been listed.

I'm connecting to a DB2 iSeries database.

I have checked permissions, and procedures having the same permissions as functions are displayed, so I don't think it's a matter of permissions.

Any ideas why functions aren't listed? Thanks for any advice!

I presume you mean User Defined functions? What sort of connection are you using - ODBC, DB2 ?

From what I remember, you had to choose the DB, in your case "DB2" that corresponds with the bringing in of the functions for the correct db when you initially set up the db before the metadata is brought in.

What CognosProfessional says is true, but your can also import User Defined Functions. You have to include the appropriate collection (libray in i-series speak) in the data source.
