importing from Access 2000 into contacts in Outlook

We are trying to importing data from an Access 2000 table into the contacts in Outlook-why reinvent the wheel when we have the info we need.

The problem: it imports only the data from one (the 2nd) column into contacts and not the other fields

Did you try to export the Access data into Excel (delete columns you don't want in Outlook) and save the file as a ".cvs", then import that file into Outlook?

It still pulls in only the second column of data-for example
Col 1 Col2 Col 3
John smith 293 234 1234

it pulls in smith and thats it
