Hi,

Can anybody tell me when I import data from a TXT file, using 'Get external data', how I keep the leading zeroes that are in the file (or maybe show the leading zeroes in the table!)

I have used the defaults on importing.

Within the import wizard, ensure the data type for that field is text. If Access sees what appear to be numbers it will import them as such and therefore lose the leading zeroes.
