Importing Excel file to Access

I have a daily excel file that needs to be imported into an access database on a daily basis. On my computer I get the option to choose the Excel format, but other members of my team do not have that option. We are all running Access 2003. What options do we need to select to be able to select an .xls in the Files of Type dropdown.

Probably they have to repair their office install and choose all the file converters.

Have you got the latatest version of Jet?

The new version of Jet didn't work, but we found that we needed to reregister the DLL's.
