Yes it is possible. How are you at programming?

Emmm - Not a programer however if it's not to complex I might take a stab at it.

You have to be able to figure out what Project Object Model Properties you need to update. There are LOTS of potions for a date, for instance. This means LOTS of data analysis, using the Watch Window in the VB Editor of Project, for instance, to discover what properties are acutally being used. It's not simple! You must know what you are doing. You must understand something about Object Models. A casual programmer will struggle. A good programmer will dig for hours to figure out what goes where. I ain't a cake walk!

Yeah, that's what I figured. I'm not at that level. I was hopeing that there might be something simple through the import tools already included in the program. Thanks however.

Hi,

You can open an Excel spreadsheet in Microsoft Project to launch the Import Wizard. You will need to map your Excel fields into the Project fields. As Skip notes, there are multiple date fields including Start1 through Start10, Finish1 through Finish10, and Date1 through Date10.

As a start, create a quick project in Project add the fields you need to the Entry table. Save As an Excel file and look at the exported data in Excel. That will give you good guidance on how the Excel file should be structured.

Post back with more question as you need.

I hope this helps.
