I have email responses from an online survey. Is it possible to easily import the results into Access from either Outlook or Outlook express?

Not sure about the format of your e-mail, but you can create a link to an Outlook folder just like you can link to external tables. Right-click in the tables pane of the database window and select 'Link Tables'. Switch 'Files of Type' to either Exchange() or Outlook(), then a wizard will let you select the folder, and voila.

If the format of the table is suitable, this is an easy solution.

This is great for what I am planning on doing I have one Problem I have created a unique form in outlooks. I currently have all email with this form going to one folder then I linked the folder from my access data base but am not getting any of the fields I have created from that form in the link tables. I am just getting a gerneric table of who sent it, time, subject, to, cc, etc.. I have been work on this for about 4 hours now and I can't figure out how to get the feilds that i want from the Forms.

I have found the answer!!! First you must go to Define view for this folder and make a new veiw with the New form you created set it up the way you want your table in access to look. Then name it and save it. Then on the bottom left side of the Define Views window there is a check box that says "ONLY SHOW VIEWS CREATED FOR THIS FOLDER" check that box. Then Click Apply View. Then you will link your table to that folder Vola!! it is done.
