I am creating a contact's database, and wondering if it is possible to transfer my contact information from filemaker pro into my access tables.

can it be done?

i would greatly apprieciate any information reguarding this. Even walkthrough's to help me step by step.

thanks,
Chris

I haven't done it, but my understanding is Access and FileMaker don't talk to each other. What I've heard from others is that you can import FileMaker into Excel and then into Access. That's my advice.

PaulBricker is correct. FileMaker and ODBC don't mix. FileMaker's help says:
Code:
You can export FileMaker Pro data to a new file and then open it in another application. You can't export data from a FileMaker Pro file to a remote database like Microsoft SQL Server.

Hoc nomen meum verum non est.
