Hi,

I've got a legacy system sitting on an old AS/400, and I'd like to get all the data out of it (if possible).

It was a system called PRMS, and I dont think it backs into DB2 or anything, so I'm presuming at this stage I might be able to FTP in and copy off a bunch of flat files, write some SQL Loader scripts and import the data into Oracle tables.

Is there an easier way ?

Is anyone familiar with PRMS ?

Exie,

Using SQL*Loader to get your AS/400 data into Oracle is a solid approach.
