Importing Data from an Excel file

Hi,

I'm having trouble trying to import data from an excel file that was e-mailed to me. After a couple of hours I got it to import some of the fields but not all. The contact list has about 2 hundred contacts but only 75 appear. I tried re-importing but it just does not work. I'm not sure if this would be the problem but in order to import some of the data I hade to change the file to DBaseIII. Please help!!!

You can save the excel file as a text delimited file. Then when importing map the 'excel' fields to the appropriate fields within Act. You can also save the map file for any future, similar imports.
