Hi There,
Very new to mySQL but finding more and more uses for it every day! Can anyone help me with a query that will allow me to import a csv file from a location that is not on the C: of the server.

Eg I have a file in the location:

j:\fxoptsmo\files\temp\data.csv

Any help much appreciated.

Also - a real rookie question for people - is it possible to store queries on the server rather than on the client PCs to improve speed and allow all users to see them?

Squidling...

Take a look at the "LOAD DATA INFILE" query:
A couple of "gotchas":[ul][li]Don't use the "LOCAL" keyword.[/li][li]Use the full path and drive letter, and use either forward slashes in place of backslashes or use double-backslashes for every backslash[/li][/ul]
