In 3.1 and lower, when I would build a config or need to do mass changes to names and extension, I would export the config to a .csv file. I would then open the file , delete all of the information in the file except for the extension and user information. Then I could change user names, full names, and extension to what I needed, save the file. Then I could go into manager and import the .csv file and all the changes would be there (new names, extens, etc.)

This doesnt seem to work with 3.2. Anyone found a way to do this? Sure I could just export the user .csv, but that only changes the short name not the full name as well. Renumbering extension I know you can do in manager with the renumber feature now, but that will just put extensions in suquence, I couldnt change extens to say 5000-550o, and 6000-6200 as well.

In 3.2 go to file import export to do this. You must name your file user.csv

I know how to import and export the file as Ive done this in 3.1 and been able to make changes in the file and then import it and the chances are there.

In 3.2 I can export the file. I change the full name, name, and extension fields to the users, and the extension in the extension information, save it and import it. When I import the file in 3.2, the changes do not take, nothing happens.

no one else makes mass changes with csv files like this???

bdelmar, did you ever figure this one out. I'd like to e able to make mass changes by modifing the csv file.

Are you able to create new extensions this way?

I prog my system via csv files at 3.1.65 before I upgrade to 3.2. I played around and could not get the 3.2 to work right with csv files. I prog 90% of my system with csv, saves a lot of time. Just remember after importing to change your password or it will come out as qttbord instead of password.
