Importing Chinese Characters?

Can anyone help with this,

I have been supplied with a file to cut from (vinyl signage) that contains Chinese text, when I try to import the file (it's a .ai) it tell's me I don't have the typeface HYa3gj. I've tried searching the web for such a typeface but i don't think it exists.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get these Chinese characters into Illustrator as vector images?
