How do I import a CAD file into Corel Draw V8? Any ideas?

You need to have your cadd operator do a screen capture and save the results as a tiff, jpg or someother file type that corel will accept.

This is easily enough done - there is a command in most cadd programs to do this.

Once the screen capture has been saved in a compatable file format you simply click file, import and select the file.

Hope this helpedB-)

Have the CAD operator save the file as a .DXF or .DWG and simpily open or import it.

That way it is still line and curves rather than a bitmap and you can edit it within Draw.

Cheers.

AutoCad also has a .wmf export option. This is also a vector format and is much more Corel friendly.

I use it a lot.
