Importing an exe aplication as a Cast Member

Hi there...

it's me ... againn

I'm having some troubles everytime i try to import an aplication inside Director.

The point of doing this is that i want to create an instalation of a determinated aplication trough my project.

After doing the selection of the aplication, this error message pops up:

Having Trouble Reading
c:\windows\desktop\project\software\app.exe
Continue Importing?

-1

And then it stopes importing the file.

Do i need to add any Xtra to get the job done?

Its simply not possible, the nature of an application is going to prevent this happening.

I have never needed to copy or move programs with Director before so I don't know if it can be done, but I am reasonably sure xtras exists that will be able to do that bit for you.

What is required for you installer? Is it just copying the files or does it need to create full undelete information and use the registry?
