Hi! I was trying to import address book from a Microsoft Excel Comma Seperated Value File, in to Outlook Express. Actually, I already have some entries in my OE address book. I want to have a seperate address book for the new entries, so that I can maintain the mailing list of the old entries and new ones, seperately. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thank you!

If you open the address book, you can create new folders. Import into that, but they are still shown together in the main OE window. I think that is the best you are going to get...

Hopefully I'm wrong, or that is good enough...

Thanks,

HI! Mattwray,

Thank you for ur reply! Yeah! I tried creating a Folder and importing the CSV file into that, but as u said it got mingled with my previous entries. So, Can I be able to seprate these and get a seperate mailing list?

If you are looking for something like a distribution list, you could try creating a group for all those contacts and then adding all those addresses. Then to send to it, you would just choose that group from your contacts in the main OE window...

Thanks,

Apart from using a distribution list - which is like adding those new address to a new group, you can create a new user account - and copy those addresses into that new account. Although you'll have to log off to use it - or you put these addresses in Micro Outlook - this is a more flexible appl. I will advise you use this as you default mail client - except you use an http mail server like hotmail and not a "pop" like yahoo.
