IMPORTING ACCESS TABLE

Hello all,
Iam trying to import a access table into my oracle 8i database. this is what i done
1.created odbc datasource
2.open the access table> file> export> save as odbc datasource call orcl. log into the data source.
3.i get a hour glass like the table is exporting into oracle but then i get this messege "record is to large"

Im running windows 2kserver with a 8i database and the table i want to import has 1300 rows. can any one help

Hi,
Search this group for 'Access' for info on various issues regarding this type of action, but, first:
Make sure all your Access tablenames and fieldnames are
in UPPER CASE and have no spaces or other special characters ( you can use _ for spacing) .
Change any MEMO fields to text with a max length of 4000 - if it still fails use 2000.
Be sure no Oracle reserved words are being used to table or field names..
