I've got a text file that looks like this:
NEONATE, 12YRS OLD
200123332211
01/APR/1990 00:00
Male
596223
A POS

<START_TR>
<STOP_TR>
<START_AB>
<STOP_AB>
<START_AG>
<STOP_AG>
<START_COM>
<STOP_COM>

Each line should be its own field, how can I get Access to put it into seperate fields. Right now it puts it all in one field.

Thanks,
JD

There are a ton of ways. It would probably be easiest to manipulate teh file in word or something like that first. Replace all hard returns with semicolons. Then, figure out what makes a new record. Do a search-and-replace to put in a hard return there.

Now how's that look?

Jeremy

PS: BACK UP YOUR FILE before you do this.
