Hello,

This is kind-of continued from "Run-Time error 3011".

Getting away from the VBA to automatically import a table from SQL Server, I tried to do it manually (right-click, import data...). Here's what I get when trying to import the table:

Microsoft Office Access
(!) Record is too large

So, no luck there either. Can anyone explain what is going on? And more importantly, how I can accomplish my task?

Thanks,
Jason

Check your field lengths and types... Some field types are not transportable directly to MS Access. I think I hit this once with Big Int or something similar. Also remember 255 is maximum field width in MS Access. My solution to import was to write a SQL statement and use Format commands to force specific lengths/formats...etc...
