I have inherited a very old database in DBASE 3. ALL of the DBF files imported very easily. One file has a .@01 extension, and I am not sure what it is. When I open it up in notepad i can see records, though nothing seems to be text delimited or fixed width.

My assumption is that it is a dbase file, when i renamed the extension and tried to import it Access asks for a password. I have no way of getting it, can anyone help me with a suggestion on how to get past a dbase III password.

PS all of the files came of an old 28x machine with only a 5.25 floppy.
