When I import a bitmap linked externaly, wich is saved at 300 dpi, in CD10, I get a 42dpi image inside my document, if I import it normally, it remains 300dpi, and if I resolve the linked image it turns 300 dpi (from 42dpi)

can anyone tell me what is going on?

Okay, if I understand it correctly, when you import an image and choose "link bitmap externally" you are basically putting a low resolution sketch on the page. This will cut down your file size significantly and still print at the 300dpi resolution, you don't need to "resolve link". It just appears as sort of a sketch allowing you to manipulate your page layout faster. I think it's a great feature. We should use it more often in our graphics shop.
