What does flash use to replace the "&" in dynamic text fields. I tried to replace with & but that did not work.

Also are there any other s that I need to look out for?

not sure I understand... are you trying to use & in a string in a dynamic text field and it is not working?

Think the other character you might have problems with (other thant the ones specified on the link), would be the &quot;<&quot; character... The use of %3C will most probably not work. Did find a workaround though, and will try to find it in my mess here, if ever you do need it!

Why is my text not reading the html formatting?

And by the way, don't use textField as a variable name. That will bring on possible other problems as it is a reserved word. Use &quot;my_textField&quot; or whatever else!

This is what I have now and it still is not working:
