Hi,

When placing an Illustrator EPS in Indesign 2.0, the preview knocks out the
background underneath it up to the edge of it's bounding box. The background of the Illustrator EPS is set to none. When placing this same file in Quark, the background from the image below shows through. This is what I want to happen in InDesign. Creating a clipping in Indesign is not an option. Is this just a pref. setting I am missing? It prints fine to aPostscript file and to printers.

Thanks,

Pete

This is a display setting... right click on the image and change the display quality to something better.

This may also be due to the preview that is saved in the EPS file. Try resaving the file and trying a different embedded preview option.
