Imported Flash movie w/streamed sounds plays wrong

I have Director movie with a flash into. The imported flash movie has music in it that is set in flash to stream, the animation in flash and the sound end at exactly the same time. All of this works correctly when tested in the flash player.

The problem is that the way the flash movie is executed in Director is not consistent. The sound tends to end before the Flash movie ends and this is different on different machines with varying processor speeds.

I have tried to push the frame rate higher on the imported Flash movie from 12(as set in Flash) to as high as 22. This fix is okay when the final cd is played on a slower machine, but on a fast machine the sound simply gets cut off when the animation end.

Is there any way to maintain Flash streaming capabilities after import into Director.

Flash is not very good at keeping sound and animation synchronised. Separating the sound from Flash and put it in the Director may help your situation.
