Important question about Upgrade

Hi,

I have a important question. Tonight i have schedule a IPO upgrade from 7.0 to 9.0, preferred edition. I have made a mistake on my licence order.

I have order a licence essential edition 9.0 (275631) and not the upgrade licence. Can i make the upgrade with the essential edition licence or absolutely need the upgrade licence (275669).
