Hi everybody,

as far as I know rsh is important for a successul HACMP takeover. But
what exactly happens, when the backup machine takes over ? What is it
doing via rsh and why can't it go without rsh ?

Regards
Thomas

Hi Tsch!
I think it's not use rsh while node take-over
it's only use of synclonize to node(topology,resource_group)
so, when i completed install to hacmp, i removed .rhosts file
It's mean can't exact rsh automatically but no problem of
take-over.
I couldn't convinced my think. it's just my thought.
sorry for bed english
thanks & regards

Sorry Tsch!
It's my mistake upword message.
plz. ignore my message. Imm....my fault!!!

No you don't need rsh for normal production. Only when configuring the cluster.
