Is there a way to import a visio document into visual studio for web devolopment?

do you mean you used Visio to create some sort of UML diagram and you want to transform the diagram into code? And by code I mean code, not HTML.

I think there are 3rd party plug-ins for Visio to do this. Or maybe the Uber/Enterprise version or Visio. Nothing out of the box that I am aware of though.

Also, any code generation tool would produce environment agnostic code (hopefully). That is, whether the code was used for web development or desktop development wouldn't matter.

No its just regular visio document, no UML. BUt yes i would like to view it invisual studio so i can link the multiple pages/documents the way it supoosed to be.

Importing gives the impression you want to incorporate the document into the code base, somehow utilizing the visio document in the application itself.

if all you want is to open the visio document from within visual studio (which will still open the visio document in visio) you can "add existing item" to a project/solution rather than "add new item".
