Import View in Excel

I am trying to import a Notes View into Excel using Microsoft Query. The Query work, but the numeric and date field come in a text. I need to be able to use in calculation. Since someone else will be using the data, I am hoping to get the data corrected coming in. The is a file that will be updated weekly...so I don't really want to try and get the user to modify the data. Export doens't work well because of the file size.


I really appreciate you help.
