Import Time billed to project from 3rd party source

I am new to project, but wanted to know if we could import data from our time and labor solution into MS project?

Our time and labor solution is sql server 2000, so I know I can get the data.

Any assistance, comments or urls you can point me to would be helpful.

Yes, but not easily. You'll need to write some fairly sophisticated code to handle this. Unless you are familiar with the internal workings of Project, you will likely find that this is a non-trivial task.
