I need to import data from a Sybase 11 system on unix (not adaptive server) to MS Access. The database is at another location, and I don't have direct access, so I will need to give instructions to the DBA there. We've tried creating an ODBC connection to the dump file, but the correct drivers are not installed on the workstation. The only Sybase driver she has is for adaptive server. We also tried creating the connection to the database directly, but that didn't work either. I've done this before with a dump file created on a windows server, but not on Unix. Maybe that is the problem?
