I have a bunch of speedcalls on my 4.0 sp3 mxe that convert 4 digit did's to 5 digit internal numbers.

There are about 500 entries in the list right now.

If I import the speed call form with only 1 entry, will it overwirte what I currently have with that 1 entry, or will it append that 1 entry to the existing form?

It will append the list
It will only overwrite if the number already exists

Is there a way to get it to overwrite or erase all of the entries first.

Basically I have about 500+ speedcall entries for inbound DID's tomorrow the telco is going to start sending 7 digits. I dont want to flex the dimensions to allow 1000+ entries, so i would like to just delete all 500 current entries and then tomorrow import my list with all of the 7 digit speed calls.

I thought the default speed calls was 1000 but you have not said what system.
I suppose you could range delete the old numbers first and then import.
You might have to do this via the back door (SX2000) interface as I do not think this is possible from the ESM
