Am using a command button / macro to:

- transfer xcel data into an access table
- and run a couple of append queries (new products codes, new purchase point codes)

problem is source data date format as string - setting between criteria through a form = inaccurate reports

I figure this is prbly a good opportunity to convert macro to a module

can anybody help with the code - especially date string to day / month / year
