I've created Access tables and XLS spreadsheets with exactly the same columns. When I want to import XLS to a table that is already there, it gives me an error. I've don't want to delete the table and create a new import, because I have to change the properties of the Access fields. I've tried just deleting the rows in the Access table and reimporting to that table. Also the same error.

Any ideas?
I don't know if our clients will want to totally replace the data we have in a table or just want to add new rows.

Thanks,

I think you might have better luck getting an answer if you say what the error is.

An error occrred trying to import file c:\access\testimport\.........\The file was not imported"

The table and the imported, I swear, have the same names.

Has anyone had luck with this?
Appreciate it!
