Scope:
We are in the process of translating a Web site from English to Simplified Chinese. The site uses ASP and MS-SQL 2000 to display the content. The translator provided the translated text for the database in MS Access file.

Problem:
I can see the Chinese characters correctly in Access, but when I import the data into MS-SQL Server 2000 database, all characters are displayed as question marks.

Question:
How do we configure the SQL server to display the characters correctly?

Thank you in advance.

Check out BOL, use index, and look for 'language, set language.

It appears you want to use:

SET LANGUAGE 'SIMPLIFIED CHINESE'

but I'm not familiar with that command....
