Import local fields to enterprise fields

Hello:

We did not have project server implemented and were using local fileds. However, we are now using project sevrer. I want to know if there is a way to automate(wizard, writting a script) moving some of the local fields into enterprise fields? I can write a SQL script. I have had bad experiences trying to insert data in the backend.
Any advice?
