Hi,

I have a customer that would like to import or link his Excel spreadsheet data into and Access database. Most of the data in this spreadsheet is text and numbers, but some cells include embedded images. I need to know how to import or link these (I'm not sure which we'll be doing), so we can display them on a form or report using the bound object frame. Basically, to treat them as embedded OLE objects.

He doesn't want to store the path of an external image because he wants to redistribute this to clients, and he wants the number of files kept to a minimum.

I tried importing the pictures from Excel, but Access just creates a text field in the table and no data gets imported for those cells that have pictures.

TIA

Uh, never-mind. It turns out the client doesn't need this feature after-all.
