Hello,

Is there a way to import into an Oracle table from MS Excel using TOAD, or some other tool?

Thanks, [smile]

Peter

You could export into a csv file and use sqlldr to import into the table. There may be more direct methods which others are aware of, however.

There are lots of ways to acheive this, the simplest being the CSV method opined by Ken. Also (from within EXCEL itself) look at ODBC and the less well known OO4O.

Good morning,

I use a product called SQLTools that allows you to import directly into Excel. It is available from sourceforge and it is free. It is really easy to use.
