import historic rate table into FRx DAX db?

I'm creating a new currency translation db because the company wants to calculate exhange rates on a monthly basis rather than a daily basis. The company already has a DAX db with daily rates.

Is there a way I can export the historic rates from the old DAX db to the new DAX db so that we don't have to manually re-enter the historic rates into the new DAX db?

I am not positive about this, but try coping the old rates out to an excel spreadsheet and then copy them back into the new DAX table.
